Recently a new application released in App Store called “SU Tools”. It is a powerful editing tool for all Foursquare users. By this tool users can report or edit venues on a simple interface. Not only superusers can edit venues, also normal users may able to suggest edits.
When you open the SU Tools simple interface welcomes you and after logging in there is a page which includes brief information about user; maximum and recent points, last check-in place, how many badge that user earned. As a basic and powerful venue listing and searching feature is the most usable thing in SU Tools. Venues are listing with their address, total check-ins and visitors count and also their distance to search location. Superusers can change details, the location of the venues in detail page, also can change categories of a venue. Also tips of the venues can be listed and reported by simply tapping on a tip. In the detail page venue can be flagged as “inappropriate”, “mislocated” and few more options. “Flag the Venue” section is the place for flagging venues with different options.
In version 1.2 there are two more features according to users wishes, one of them is expanding the search area “Search on Map”. With this feature user can select a location on map and search nearby venues. Second one is “To Do List” that user can save a venue on that list and edit them later.
Besides using API of the Foursquare, “SU Tools” provides users to save a place on a “To Do List” and edit them later. Also in version 2 there will be a new feature called “History” which users will able to see their previous edits and check them if edits is occured or not. This feature is gonna be much more useful for normal users.
You can give an advice, complaints or your opinions from “Report to Us” section in SU Tools or you can follow the developer of the “SU Tools” Bugra Baskaya from @bugrabaskaya.
